Emily Nolan

I am responsible for overseeing accounts payable, cash application, collections, and master data functional areas for all Group O business units.  I lead the finance “Shared Services” team, who support the critical day to day transaction processing of vendor invoices, payments and inquiries, customer payment application, customer collections activities, management of master data (customers, vendors, chart of accounts) and standard financial reports. I am working to establish the Shared Services structure, best practices and centralized processes to support these functional areas, with support from the Shared Services AP/AR Manager, and ensure the team is using our new ERP in a consistent and efficient manner.

I graduated from Augustana College with degrees in Accounting and Business Management. My career has toggled between finance and operations for the past 15 years, with an emphasize on process improvement throughout all of my positions. Prior to my current role at Group O, I worked as an IT business analyst, leading the finance track of our multi-year phased Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation. Before that, I spent 10 years working at HNI/Allsteel in multiple roles. I started as a staff accountant, then senior accountant, senior business analyst for their new ERP implementation, bids finance analysts, fulfillment analyst, Service Manager, Operations Manager and finally Group Operations Manager for the Architectural Products business line. Prior to HNI, I was a staff accountant for Group O.
